Environment Community - Meetings & Work Days
Umina Beach Village is a green, family friendly village. The beach environment is important to the community with a number of monthly group meetings, clean-ups, land & coast care days organised throughout the year.
P.E.G Peninsular Environment Group
P.E.G. is a voluntary group promoting sustainable living & green networking. Meetings are the first Tuesday each month, 6.30pm at Woy Woy Environment Centre, or 7.45pm to just see the guest speakers, film or discussion that follows.
Umina Beach Bushcare Group
Umina Beach Bushcare meet regularily on Sundays, around Bledisloe Park, cleaning out the weeds, replanting with local natives, litter clean-up & restoration.
C.E.N Community Environment Network
C.E.N. is a body that supports individuals & groups on the central coast who are working for the environment. Membership is open to individuals & groups in the region. C.E.N. is a community based non-profit organisation that meets bi-monthly.
